DIFFUSE GOITER 131-IODINE

            This is an 18 year old female with hyperthyroidism and Graves Disease. The endocrinologist requested radioiodine therapy after thyrosol treatment failure. She received 13 mCi and at the 4th day underwent the thyroid scintigraphy. Note homogeneous uptake and gland enlargement. No background activity is seen due to delay scan.
