Severe Lymphatic Obstruction above the Ankle (Prepared by Dr. Gabriel Castro.) •Woman, 48 years old with history of 10 years of edema in right lower extremity right after a venous surgical procedure (to treat varicose veins). A 99m-Tc colloid scintigraphy was done after injecting it, in both feet, between the first and second toe, doing the right side first. Normal flow of the radiotracer is seen in the left lower limb, while in the right side there is stop of the radiotracer above the ankle, which persisted even after walking for several minutes.
