Patient Preparation
- Perform a standard DTPA renogram. If the child does not control sphincter, wait for the bladder filling on the persistence scope to start the acquisition.
- If the child controls sphincter inject the 99m Tc DTPA dose and diuretic outside the gamacamera room and wait for micturition desire to start the acquisition, allowing 1 min as baseline before voiding.
