washed, raw or cooked)

that do not have
ingredients
that are high in
iodine.

be eaten
in stews,
salads. (seasoned
with vegetable oil
and lemon)

Peeled
Potatoes
(do
not cook with skins)

Nonsalted
bread and
crackers.
Unsalted peanuts.

Vegetable soup
or
natural
cereal.

Soft
transparent (e.g.
Sprite,
Canada
Dry)
- Water from
springs.
Restricted food
- Iodized salt and sea salt
- All dairy products (whole milk and skim milk, cream, cheese, yogurt with
cereal and fruit, butter, margarine, ice cream)
- Egg yolks (and foods containing)
- Seafood (fish, shellfish and seaweed)
- Cured and preserved foods. (ham, bacon, sausage, canned meats, tuna, etc.).
- Nuts.
- Chocolates.
- Soy products (soy sauce, milk, tofu)
- Foods containing red dyes.
