SPECT FDG NORMAL IMAGES
Female, 52 Note homogenous glucose metabolism in the 3 slices. In this case heart is reoriented as perfusion myocardial studies.
FDG studies are the gold standard for myocardial viability, especially in CAD. Normal glucose metabolism is an excellent marker of cell integrity. Spect was used with high energy collimators obtaining adequate resolution.
