Meckelīs Diverticulum Study
This procedure allows the detection of a bleeding diverticulum containing gastric mucosa, by means of 99m Tc pertechnectate. Sensitivity is around 85% and specificity 95%. False positives may be due to tumors, intussusception, arterio-venous malformations, activity in the kidneys. The presentation will include comment on:
