Patient 50 year old, male, hepatitis C carrier diagnosed 8m ago, under  therapy. A CT scan of the abdomen showed a mass of 4.9 x 2.2 cm in aorta intercava region below the third portion of the duodenum. Fever posterior to interferon, vague discomfort, low physical condition. Retroperitoneal lymph node biopsy: High Grade Large B Cell Lymphoma. At that time PET was positive in abdomen and mediastinum several lymphonodes. After 3 QT cycles, a control PET 18F-FDG was requested. At left arrows point to the catheter. At right coronal fusion slices with normal tracer distribution, in correlation to complete response.

Pet showed complete remmission. A mild focal area of uptake is seen in the right upper hemithorax, which correlated to the inlet of a chemotherapy catheter.
